There are a number of ways to get traffic to your niche business. You can use both online and offline methods. However, you probably want to start with the online strategies, because they are the cheapest. Here are five of the best methods:

#1) Search engine optimization (SEO)

When you are first starting out, you probably will not have a lot of money. That’s where SEO comes in.This is where you get your site ranked in the top ten results of the search engines for various keywords. The best part is, it’s completely free.

Also, the amount of keywords you can target is unlimited. Because of this, many people build entire businesses around SEO.

#2) Search engine pay per click

This is one of the fastest ways to drive traffic to your niche business. It’s very simple. You simply pay every time somebody clicks on an ad and comes to your site. The amount it costs depends on the niche keywords you are targeting.

However, it’s very important that your site converts well if you use this strategy. If you aren’t careful, you can lose a lot of money and gain very little in the process. The important thing is to start small, and gradually add more traffic as your niche website become more profitable.

#3) Site advertising

In this case, you would find a site in the search engines you want to advertise on. Instead of paying them per click, you will usually spend a fixed amount per month. This can bring in an enormous quantity of traffic, if you’ve chosen the right sites.

#4) Joint ventures

This is where you find other niche business owners with customer lists related to your niche. You then offer them a reward for advertising your product.

Usually, you would give them a percentage of every sale that comes from their list. That way, you both benefit-they get paid, and you get a customer.

#5) Co-registration

Note: this is a more advanced strategy, and should only be used once you have achieved a profitable niche website with the first four strategies already discussed. It’s one of the fastest traffic methods on the planet, albeit one of the most expensive.

Here’s how it works: you advertise on the thank you pages of other products (newspaper subscriptions are a common example). After somebody has signed up for the subscription, they will be offered a list of other products or services they might be interested in.

If they check the box requesting more information about your business, you get their name and email. Then you can start marketing to them.

You have to pay for everyone who signs up, much like pay per click. However, you often have to place a high minimum order amount. For this reason, only do this once you are making money with the first four strategies.

The bottom line: there are tons of ways to get traffic to your niche business. These are five of the best. Implement these tips one at a time, and your online profits will explode.

In the upcoming weeks, we will begin to give an in-depth review of the various niche products available for download – not only on this site, but across the web. This isn’t going to be a sugar coated sales pitch aimed at merely trying to get you to buy one of our niche website packages. Rather, this is an honest evaluation of the niche product from the sales page, to the product review to any additional extras or add ons that it includes. If we feel something falls short, we’re going to be brutally honest about it.

In fairness, though, I would like to point out that we do actually review each and every product listing that we put on this site for sale, so of the products we cover, you won’t see any overly brutal reviews since we know it has value or we wouldn’t have added it. We will, however, tell you if there are certain aspects that could potentially use a personal touch and we’ll also tell you which products not on our site to be sure to steer clear of elsewhere.

The bottom line is that our goal is to help you become successful in your niche business by not only offering you the very best niche products around, but also giving you the extra tools and resources for you to make informed decisions about your niche websites whether you purchase from us or elsewhere.

Niche marketing simply means targeting a particular topic with your website. Staying focused on this subject is key for making money. Many online marketers have generic websites with thousands of unrelated products. These sites almost never become profitable. Instead, you want to pick one niche and focus your site on that subject. That’s not to say you can’t sell to more than one market. However, you want to have separate niche websites for each individual property.

While having focused websites is very important, there are some tips that will make or break your success. Here are three of the most important:

#1) Find a profitable niche Being able to do proper market research is one of the most critical skills you can have. This prevents you from wasting time on products that will not work. In other words, you want to make sure a subject has income potential before starting on it. So many people do it the other way around. They first choose a market, and build a site without verifying there is anybody willing to spend money in that subject.

#2) Find a niche you are passionate about On the flip side of the coin, you also want to have an interest in the topic you are getting involved. Some marketers make their decisions solely on profit potential of a market, without regard to their interest level in it. While money making potential is important, you definitely want to have a passion for the subject. If you can’t see yourself writing on that topic two to three years from now, then you probably should avoid it.

#3) Map out your plan of attack Once you have found a potentially profitable niche that you have a passion for, it’s time to set a plan. In the first stages, you were just identifying a topic that could make you money. Now it’s time to dig deeper. Here is where you actually identify your monetization method, whether it is Google Adsense, affiliate marketing, selling advertising space, etc.

Once you’ve determined this, now figure out how to reach the market. This is where keyword research comes into play. You should have done some keyword research when first looking at the topic. However, now it’s time to dig deeper and actually identify the specific keywords you will target. There is no right or wrong answer for the terms to go for. Some people choose very uncompetitive keywords that they can rank for within a few weeks. Others target more competitive keywords that will require years of effort. It all depends on how big your site is going to be.

Assuming you’ve chosen a topic you enjoy, you probably can go after harder to rank for terms, because you are going to have a larger site. The bottom line: picking a niche that has profit potential, and that you have a passion for, is very important. Both of these elements should be present in any topic you target. This will help you maximize your success.
